Once a Lego Kid, Always a Lego Kid

Building a Farmer’s Friend 100 by 14 foot Gothic Pro caterpillar tunnel is possibly the most effective method of separating the lego kids from the non-lego kids. To me, it was fairly enjoyable and super rewarding (admittedly, I did want to pull my hair out a number of times). To Rhianna on the other hand, it was hell from start to finish. We all have our strengths and weaknesses and building things from a kit is a skill I have been honing since I was young. Who knew that all those afternoons spent meticulously constructing plastic castles, villages, and airplanes would pay off.

Anchoring and bow construction complete

Almost done securing the center purlin, what an arm workout!

Added wind bracing and pulled plastic with almost no issues!

It’s pretty special how you come to appreciate your individual strengths and weaknesses when farming with your partner. Rhianna and I have farmed two seasons together but we still have a lot to learn when it comes to functioning as a team. All I know is that neither of us could do this alone and that I still have no idea how to work the Jang Seeder. If it comes with a picture-based instruction manual I should be good to go.
